Who we are is who we have known in our lifetime.

My uncle exposed me to welding and science fiction.
My mother loved flowers and her sister was an artist.
All of these things were contagious to me.

In my job, I've been repairing and modifying heavy equipment for most of my life. 20 years ago I inherited an old English anvil from my grandfather and all of my previous history seemed to start to take form.

I love the smell of a coal fire and the forge is where most of my ideas culminate.

Because of my love of nature in the raw, most of my art projects are dedicated to nature. I don't really have a "trademark style" because everything in nature is unique as is every hand forged item that I make unique. With the help of my wife, my toughest critic, I feel I have and will continue to improve in my art.
